Damien Giguet
CHAIRMAN
Damien brings over 27 years of experience in real estate investment and structured finance.
He began his career in the Real Estate Structured Finance team at Société Générale, before joining Jones Lang LaSalle, advising on complex M&A transactions, capital structuring, and sale & leasebacks.
He then held senior positions at LaSalle Investment Management as Head of Financing for Continental Europe, and at ABN AMRO and JPMorgan, where he was responsible for originating syndicated and securitized real estate loans.
Damien holds a Master’s degree in econometrics and a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in real estate economics and finance. He has advised and led over 200 transactions totaling more than €10 billion
Micaela Malinverno
SENIOR ADVISOR
Micaela has over 25 years of experience in finance and real estate. She began her career in the Securitized Products and CMBS team at Morgan Stanley, and later held executive roles in the Italian branches of major German mortgage banks — including as Managing Director of Eurohypo AG in Milan. She specializes in complex financing, structuring, and restructuring assignments, particularly in the Milan and Rome markets.
Micaela holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, and has led or advised on more than 40 transactions totaling over €3 billion, with oversight responsibilities on loan portfolios exceeding €10 billion
Stéphane Adolf
SENIOR ADVISOR
Stéphane has more than 30 years of international experience in real estate finance. He held leadership roles at Eurohypo and Commerzbank, overseeing commercial real estate lending activities across Europe and Asia-Pacific. His expertise spans loan origination, transaction management, credit risk analysis, and debt restructuring through multiple market cycles.
A graduate of KEDGE Business School, Stéphane has led or supported over 50 transactions totaling more than €3.5 billion, and has supervised loan portfolios exceeding €25 billion
Ignacio Conde Lucaya
ASSOCIATE
Ignacio joined Shift Capital in July 2023 as an Associate. He previously worked at EY Parthenon in Paris and Barcelona within the Debt Advisory & Restructuring team, focusing on distressed real estate companies. He also worked as an analyst at a real estate company in Barcelona, where he was in charge of sourcing investment opportunities in the hospitality sector, and completed an internship at HI Partners, a pan-European hotel investor.
Ignacio holds a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from ESADE Business School – Ramon Llull University
Mamoun Essakalli El Hocini
ANALYST
Mamoun joined Shift Capital in January 2025 as an Analyst. He previously worked at Apartool, a Barcelona-based startup active in the real estate and hospitality sectors, where he held cross-functional roles in finance, strategy, and operations. He was notably in charge of managing strategic partnerships with key players in the short-term rental industry.
Mamoun is a graduate of the Grande École Program at ESSEC Business School
Charlotte Pilain
OFFICE MANAGER
Charlotte joined Shift Capital in 2020 as Office Manager. A dual French-American national, she began her career at UBS Paris after studying History at the University of Edinburgh. She then worked for nearly ten years as a freelance translator and consultant, specialising in fashion and lifestyle, supporting the marketing, press, and events departments of Lacoste on international campaigns.
